    Replacement Windshield

My '67 Vin# 21465 shows a June build on the POP. I am assuming late June based on the Vin. It has a replacement windshield that is cracked and has an incorrect date code. My question is when getting the replacement for a June build is a June '67 date code correct or should it be a May code?
    Thx for the input.

    Harvey,
I suggest you use the month that most of your other glass has.

      Re: Replacement Windshield

Harvey, I'd probably shoot for a May windshield to be safe. I was lucky enough to find a Feb 67 windshield out of a car built March 67 for my May 67 built car. That works very well.
Original windshields in my other cars are 10-66 for a 1-67 build and 5-66 for a 9-66 build.

Agreed. Glass can be within a year of the car's build date, so try and match what you find on the rest of the car.

My '67 coupe 21602 was on or about June 23rd as per production totals listed for that day. Your number according the totals would put it on or about the 22nd. There are potentially some discrepancies as to the actual dates as per the production totals. At any rate, they were built very close to the end of the C2 era.
