Very nice car! Several items to note on this thread: 1) Grease pencil markings on the head were not on every motor. I see restorers who see a specific marking on an unrestored car, and duplicate it automatically. There were certain givens, and many not. Reminds me of 30 years ago when there was a 62 FI unit with a "pressure tested" stamp on it. Suddenly many restored 62 units showed up with that stamp. Rochester did not pressure text every unit, only one every so often. 2) Attached is a photo of a 67 300hp with AIR block marking. This may be the only marking that is the same upside down, right side up, and mirror image. (HH) 3) There were additional paint markings on the side of the block, along with the grease pencil, that were covered over by the orange paint. I would really like to know what those were and what they denoted!
