Valve of 64 Harrison original 3155316

I picked up a very nice Oem 3155316 aluminum radiator. Dated 64C. Still has original Harrison sticker. It is very clean. It is the same one in my 72 4 speed no AC car. Just curious.
    Thanks
    Joey

I sold a 64 radiator a few years back for $100.00. It was used. Before I sold it I took it to my local shop and had it pressure checked for leaks. I sold it to the daughter of a friend and as far as I know its still ok.

Is yours used or NOS? NOS will drive the price up.

No. Not NOS but nice. I was just curious of its value. Thanks Joey

Joey, problem is if an aluminum radiator is filled and removed without filling it immediately with a mix of water and antifreeze it will corrode. You should have it checked and then fill it immediately! They can seldom be fixed.
        Good luck!

Yes, I agree. When I removed the original 3155316 radiator from my 1969, I immediately filled it with a 60/40 mix of anti-freeze/distilled water. I then securely capped the inlet and outlet. Aluminum radiators that are removed, drained, and left that way will corrode and deteriorate. Even if they subsequently pass a pressure test, one does not know just how much life is left in them. It could be a week, a month, a year, 2 years, etc. It's basically a "pig-in-a-poke". How much would one be worth? To tell the truth, I would not buy one at any price.

NOS? That would be worth a king's ransom if not for an outfit called DeWitts.

Thank you all for the replies. I am going to clean it up and pressure test it and see what I have.
            Thanks again
