    Pitman Arm Question

I started installing my power steering system this evening. I installed pitman arm and the steering cylinder bracket that mounts to the frame. I turned the steering wheel full right and the pitman arm hits the forward inboard mounting nut on the cylinder bracket. It decreases the wheel turn about 1/8 turn. Is this something that will go away when the drag link and other components are installed or should I be concerned? Thanks in advance.

Bill, I think once you have the steering assy'd the wheel stops on the lower control arms will limit the steering radius ?

Yes the steering arm flat will stop at the welded-on tab stop on the lower control arm. Those are there to prevent the Pitman Arm from reaching too far in its travel.
