    67 Glove box cloth bag

I've come across two cloth content bags for my 67 convertible with hardtop glove box. Besides the size, the bags are identical. One measures 4 x 5.75 and the other is 4.5 x 7.5. Which is correct? The smaller bag will hold the hardtop wrench only if it's place in the bag at an angle.

Also, when I purchased the vehicle a 8 x 4 card stock, picture attached, label was included with the glove box content items. From the discoloration it's definitely been around for a while. However it isn't dated. There is no mention of this in the judging guide. Is
anyone aware of what this is for? Should it be in the glove box?

Hi there; My understanding is that the "Number One" label was placed on the inside of the passenger side of the windshield, along with the trim ring installation card. The trim ring instruction card was then placed inside the glovebox, once the dealer prep was completed.
I understand that the judging manual does not include these in the guide.....if anyone can chime in...it would be appreciated.
This is how I have applied them to my 67' (June 1967 production) Elkhart Blue, L79 car.

      David,
The trim ring card was placed in the plastic envelope with the rest of the glovebox items as per the AIM. I have never heard of it being placed on the windshield.

The #1 Team was affixed to the inside of the windshield by 2 strips of gum adhesive. I saw them on a carrier yet to be unloaded at Hefner Chev in Ft. Wayne, IN and removed one from a green coupe T Maxton Motors in Butler, IN. I dropped it in the lot and the gum adhesive picked up debris-still on it today.

Steven, Thank you for your replies. I have an original trim ring instruction sheet and I'm going to assume the #1 team card is original as well. I'm not doubting you but neither one of these documents have any sign of adhesive residue. Although it's a guide but the Judging manual doesn't mention the #1 Team card and it states the trim ring instruction was found in the plastic envelope inside the glove box.

Decades ago before BG moved the first time a fellow at BG was selling some he said he got at a Chevy dealership and some had adhesive strips, some didn't. He only had about a dozen. He was located near John Rohner but I didnt get his name.

              Kerry,
The reason the #1 Team card is not mentioned in the Judging Manual is because it's not judged. If it were still on the windshield when the car got to the delivering dealer, they would have removed it during normal dealer prep for the customer. Your car will be judged "as was delivered" from the dealer i.e. hubcaps/trim rings installed, plastic removed from seats, stickers removed from window glass, etc.
