        In continuing the discussion, attached is a photo of the pivot bearings. One has the "narrowed" side or groove and the other is completely round. I could not find anything in the AIM or parts catalogs about the difference or where the rounded one would be installed (inboard or outboard pivot support). Also in the photo is a comparison of the original washer and seal vs the ill-fitting one from Long Island just for those that haven't ordered one. As has been stated in the previous posts, if you can use the original parts, do it.

        Any help on the pivot bearing difference is appreciated.
