57 Seats and Frames

Greetings:

Back to working on my 57 and I am trying to figure out how the seats are attached to the frames. I read an earlier post but still not clear. It appears that the back is put in place before installing the seat. Still not sure how it fits. I don't see how the bottom is attached to the frame either.

bolt seat frame to floor pan, then take the seat back and slip its twou-shaped projections over the top of the seat frame . then look under the seat back and bend the two tabs of the seat frame over the seat back's pair of projections. the four projections are integral to the seat back spring's framing. the seat bottom is inserted under the seat back's lower border, pushed rearward and snaps down onto the seat frame. mike
