    62 Clock

Does anyone have suggestions on getting the clock repaired also? Never going to be judged or is it better to get a new quartz one?
    Thanks

I've used The Clock Works, in Eagle River Wisc. Fast turn around, fair pricing, and excellent work. They can restore it to perfection or install a quartz movement.

X2 - they installed an OEM Borg mechanical movement in my 63 clock for judging; a previous owner had put a quartz movement in...I think it was about $150

If the car is never going to be judge, then I would put the quartz one in. I had my 59 clock rebuilt for the tic-toc operation for judging and after about a month it fail again. I put the quartz one back in that came with the car. Never had an issue and keeps great time.

I replaced the clock in my '62 with a new one with a quartz movement, but I kept the old one for the next owner. The quartz one never fails and keeps excellent time - the old one was just the opposite. As others have said, if you're going to have your car judged, it's up to you.
