C-2 Convertible top deck for hardtop option

Restoring a 66. The car has, since purchased in 1990 only had a hard top, but the top deck has the hardtop receivers, but also has a soft top receivers.
So, did hardtop only cars have both receiver provisions-standard deck and they simply added the H/T receivers? Or, was my car a two top car and the soft top was removed?
Any pictures of hardtop only decks would be appreciated. Thanks,

Mike, anything could have happened between 1966 and 1990. The JG will tell you what the rear deck should have for a HT only car. But, there is always a but. Pull the quarter trim panels behind the seats and see if a soft top frame was ever installed in the mounting holes. When you restore the hardtop you will see under the trim the cars job number and what color the top was to be painted. If the job number matches the job number on your car (firewall, doors, behind gas tank) then you can feel somewhat comfortable that the car was born with a hardtop. If you can not find evidence that a soft top frame was mounted then someone probably changed the rear deck.
