Foam door seals for window and wing cranks on c2

Do the foam seals for a 64 C2 go on under the vapor barrier or on top of the barrier. My car had neither seals or vapor barriers installed.

Dan, I installed my foam seals on the outside of the vapor barrier.

Just for justification, is "outside of the vapor barrier" placing it between the vapor barrier and the interior door panel?

Thank, that's what I thought but my post could of been missintreited as to what was outside versus inside. I'll try to be more explicit next time.
