    67' New vehicle Dealer Delivery tags & labels

    Hello Gents;

    I think I had previously seen these labels on newly delivered 67's at the dealer, right before prep. From memory, these two labels were placed on the passenger side of the windshield, on the inner side; from factory. Can anyone confirm ?

    Thanks in advance

    I asked about this sticker some years ago and I was directed to a Scott Smith (I think) of N36 Restorations in TN

          I know its not mentioned in the 67 TJM. so was it applied to all cars then removed by dealers. or was it only sent to certain dealers? I only see them rarely on 67 Corvettes. I would like to know as well

            David,
            Hi there. Bill Lacy (may he rest in peace) posted a pic of a yellow 67 coupe at the factory years ago and you can make out in the picture the St. Louis #1 Team sticker on the Drivers window (going from memory). Really cool pic. It's in the archives. Regards. ARA

              Thank you Ara;

              I have placed them on my 67's...... let's see what happens at the next judging meet.

                Let us know what happens the next time you're judged. I would think they would have been removed during normal dealer prep back in the day, just as they would be today for a new car delivery, and therefore should not be there. JMHO.

                  This is the final presentation. Would appreciate if anyone could chime in if they know weather this is how cars rolled off the delivery truck back in the day.
                  Thanks in advance.

                    David,
                    The Trim Ring Card belongs in the glovebox package.

                      Confirmed.......thanks Dave; Question nonetheless.....when the car was unloaded from the truck, was the trim ring instruction label on the windshield for dealer prep purposes ? I'm asking this because I have seen period photos of several GM products at the same delivery stage with the trim ring decal on the windshield. I'm fully aware (as instructed on the card itself) that the card subsequently went into the glove box for the customer.

                        I have never seen or heard of the trim ring card being anywhere but the glovebox package. The AIM puts it there also.
