1987 Convertible Antenna Relay direction?

I need help. I am restoring the factory antenna in my 1987. The PO decided to put a generic antenna in and removed the relay. Does anyone know what part of the relay faces forward?

Dave, Thanks for the reply. Here is a picture of what I think is the mount.




The relay can be clocked in either direction and the wiring is more or less in the same location. I'm hoping someone can take a peak at their 86/87 and let me know. Otherwise I will just mount it rightly or wrongly ( I guess I have a 50% chance of being right!)

Thanks Dave, I found an original relay on ebay that I'm waiting to get. The one I have is a service replacement without the metal mount so I can't tell yet. The PO removed everything when the generic went in.

After thinking about your post, perhaps the relay pictures above is for the coupe. The convertible may have a mount that's bent 90deg to the one pictures. It appears from the Electrical Service manual the relay connectors point towards the rear of the car.

I mounted the relay as it appears in the electrical service manual "Figure C" above. I did end up bending what appears to be the coupe mounting bracket 90deg. The wires tuck nicely into a little valley on the back bulk head.
