Powerglide Modulator valve Rebuild

Does anyone rebuild the vacuum modulator valves for the 1967 aluminum powerglide? LPS only have an adjustable universal type with a recessed nipple for the hose connection. Also wondering if this is a judged part of the transmission? NOS are available on EB, but I would be dealing with a 50yr old vacuum part that may be dry rotted already. TIA Al

My 66 PG wouldn't work correctly until I installed a NOS one.

There are many different part numbers for different power glide applications. Does anyone know what the differences are? I understand that the corvette application calls for it's own part number.
