C3 side exhaust rechroming

Considering having my C3 factory side exhaust, which has pitted & peeled, re-chromed.
Has anyone had this successfully done for a "reasonable" price & if so, any recommendations/names of someone that can do the job, hopefully in the Central TX area?

I had a pair done years ago. They had slight small blisters in the chrome no pitting. I would think platers would repair yours as pitted but expect more cost. The metal is junk to begin with so don’t expect them to “live” forever if you drive the car. I sold them when still looking new and went with under car exhaust. My ‘68 with L79 ran loud with side pipes and faster with under car 2 1/2” off-road exhaust. Would I ever do it again with side pipes on any year Corvette........no.

I had to paint the black out between the fins that was a bit of a pain. If you do this use a high heat paint.
