    Man bites dog.

Looks like the auto dealership, Valley Auto, feels they were taken on this car less than a month ago:

But that didn't stop them from posting it for sale on ebay for 7500 more and somebody removed the original Kelsey Hayes wheels. Read the description. They're not happy but they do show many more faults than the original ebay listing to their credit. Hats off to V.A. on this one.

Looks like it needs everything and then some to even be a driver. The only good thing is the engine appears good for rebuild. You can see the frame is pure trash. WHAT’S THE BIRD CAGE LIKE? I’ll assume as the frame looks...... rotted. Investment is way more than if one started with a half way decent car. This is just IMHO.

      Robert
A true car crash by an experienced company who got caught -
      I've purchased Corvettes from
      San Diego 3 times
      New York
      Portland
      Troy Michigan
      Orange County
      Chicago
      and
LA - twice sometimes flying in on the Friday and returning on the Monday, I've always viewed the Corvette in person and checked it out - so I only have myself to blame - and I live 80 miles north of London UK 🇬🇧.

Am sure VA have learnt a valuable lesson here - hope so

        As I have said before....

If you got that car for free, you still couldn't afford to restore it.

I feel bad for Dave and Dylan, the owners of the corvette dealership in bedford pa. I've had nothing but good experiences with the. I won't deal with the seller from t Texas(jay). mike

The next time this car will be seen is in AZ. or one of the auctions all around the country. It will have a perfect frame and all the original paper work along with a perfect original interior. Oh and don't forget the tank sticker.
It will auction for a couple hundred thousand and be sold to someone! And the owner will have to say it's original because I have had it since 1967.

Looking at the pictures in the first posting, especially the interior and engine bay it looks like it might have been sitting in muddy water for a while - a flood car. There is mud caked up on the instrument cluster - the engine looks like it was pressure washed a bit - lot of brown "mud" residue and rust but no grease or oil stains. But it was a rust damaged car long before it took a swim during one of the recent floods down in Texas.

Wow. Is $47,500 really market price for a base engine, low option '67 that needs everything including a frame?

                I can get a #2 LT-1 for that price.
Or a perfect one owner C4 convertible with 15k miles for half that price.

I share your disbelief Mark,.....unmitigated greed and flagrant dishonesty seems to be the norm as concerns the vintage Vette market nowadays. I'm saddened to say that I've lost a lot of interest in, and passion towards our "hobby, mostly because of that fact. My old '60 and I will remain partners until the end, however what happens to it after that is somewhat of a concern.

                    Bert,

I wasn't judging the dealer's fairness. I wondered if this price truly reflects market. Maybe '67s truly command this price.
