95 Wheel lock key correct storage location and tire valve stem question

Hi All! I know I have been posting a lot of questions, I keep reading the NCRS guide but sometimes it isn't clear or picture isn't good. Where does the wheel lock key supposed to be mounted in its velcro sleeve....console or under tray near jack- and what if I have the original wheel locks and lugs in the factory green plastic bag, how does that change the scenario. I also read the valve stems are judged. I certainly do not have the OE valve stems but do have original Goodyear GSC's . What do I need to look for on the valve stem and any idea where I can get oem stems AND OEM wheel weights (what do I look for in wheel weights - I currently run inside the rim stick on weights to save rim from damage)?
    Thanks!

Thanks, that answers one question. I still need a close up of the 95 green bag with a ruler beside it for correct dimensions. Looks like I am going to have to make one!

Chris, have you tried Dino's corvette salvage yard or contemporary corvette. You can find some good stuff at salvage yards for late C4's.
It's worth a shot before you try to make one.

Here's a pic of the bag. Sorry about the bad flash reflection but if I suppress the flash, the bag color isn't close to accurate. It measures 9" x 5". If you happen to find a '96 clear 10282618 DUK bag, I'd be willing to trade this '95 bag for it.

I am pretty sure I have your clear kit. Be weekend before I can make mini storage. Mine has locks still inside it, sealed.

Guys, you know that the green bag that is being displayed is for a ZR1 and not a LT1 for 1995. See attachment for the correct Locking Lug Nut Bag for the 1995 LT1.
                      Just my humble opinion.

                        Pat,

In that case, the manual needs a correction. Pg 77 reads, "The 1994, 1995, or 1996 Corvette locking lug nut bag is green with part number "10180891". In the manual your picture is described as a "1994 Corvette LT1 Locking Lug Nut Bag." But it is true that the caption on the photo of the 10180891 bag reads, "1995 Corvette Zr-1 Locking Lug Nut Bag." All-in-all a rather confusing paragraph. I think this is one of those instances where laying out the information in a table would be helpful.

While I'm at it, this manual (throughout) tends to use language that separates descriptions into two groups; one group is commonly refereed to as "LT1" cars and the other "ZR-1" cars, often leaving the owners of LT4 cars in limbo. Being the owner of an LT4 vert, I would really like to see this fixed in the next rev of the manual.

Note: Please take my comments as constructive criticism. All things considered, the 1994-1996 TIM&JG was an excellent 1st rev and set a new standard for all the JG's since. I look forward to the publication of the next version.

I have an extra bag. It has the red fonts on it. It's the one that Pat displayed below, which is for a 95 LT1.

What would be typical for a 1996 LT1/LT4?

Floyd, I agree that the current 94-96 NCRS Judging Manual needs to be updated. This discussion on the bag numbers was furnished a couple of years ago to the National Judging Chairman for inclusion in the new Manual. The problem with errors detected in the field is that there is no process to update a National Judging Manual whereby these changes could be view by the members on a ongoing basis. This becomes a real problem when you are judging on a Chapter Level.
I have a data base of bag numbers that I have documented in the past and would be happy to share with anyone. However, it must be remembered that the information is my opinion and not the position of NCRS.
