56-57 horn brackets, same as 53-55?

Are the 56-57 horn brackets the same as 53-55?

First photo shows 53-55 brackets without the "butterfly" vibration isolators riveted on. Second photo shows 55 horns with brackets attached.

    Troy,

IIRC the horn brackets are same from 53-7 part 3706051, 52. The horns changed in '57 to 339 & 340.

Thank Gary. I was pretty sure they were the same but wanted to confirm before I advertise them. Learning more about 56-57 every day.

If we only knew why there is a small hole in the accelerator lever in 56-57 that was not used for anything. No hole in the same part for 55.

AIM Sect 102 (Radio) Sht 4 shows a ground strap attached to the throttle arm in that location.

Do have a ground strap there on my 63 also.

There were ground straps on mid-late 55s but not on the accelerator lever. Perhaps that's why there was no hole in 55.

BTW I did see on a Duntov 55 owned by a former Team Leader, that apparently had a 56-57 lever, he attached the return spring in that hole. Return spring should have gone forward to the oil filler tube.
