    1967 Bolt On Wheels

Interested in your thoughts, particularly hard core facts you may be able to share regarding what appears to be bolt on wheels on this car that has aluminum wheels hand written on the Car Shipper. I have no idea when that notation may have been added.

Can't help. It would be interesting to see if the spare is a bolt on wheel as well. The hardtop isn't listed on the shipper though that's probably ok since it looks like there is no soft top but I'd expect to see a listing for the extra charge vinyl covering. And the master cylinder isn't original.

Better than that, they came FREE as the price of the wheels is not included in the Accessories subtotal.

Nice optioned car but not a real N89 BO car in my opinion. I have a 67 BO coupe with tank sticker to document and the 02N89AA would be listed in the body of options not hand written below. Plus the option costs plus base and destination equal the bottom price without mention of the extra $263.30 for the wheels.

It was not unusual to see wheels swapped from one car in the lot to another. A '66 I owned was a Knock Off wheel car, but the original owner did not want to pay for the wheels, so they pulled standard wheels from another car and allowed a credit. It could be they ordered the wheels, had them in inventory or pulled them from another car in inventory.

Tim is right, it also could have been a dealer added option put on at delivery.
