Is there anyone in the Maricopa area that would help a widow with her '64 small block roadster? They were from the Seattle area when her husband died from throat cancer. She packed up everything and moved to their winter retreat home in Maricopa, Arizona. Before leaving, she sold his 69 roadster and loaded up the 65 onto a Reliable transport truck and put it in storage in Maricopa. She wants somebody experienced with Corvettes to go over it and make it safe and reliable because it is going to be given to her daughter as a wedding present. These were her father's plan and wishes. The car drives and is in decent shape. I painted it some 30 years ago and the silver paint still looks good. Can anybody provide her with the name of a good shop or person? You can contact me for any further information. I know of a few of the car's problems.

Re: Help in Maricopa
Perry,
If you are still looking for a shop, I have used Bromley's Corvettes (480-390-2652 http://bromleyscorvettes.com/) in Tempe, AZ (not too far from the town of Maricopa, AZ) for work on my '66 and been fairly pleased with the results. He is more of a racer shop than a restorer shop but generally works on C2 and C3s and can do an inspection and whatever repairs needed. Reasonably priced, too. I also hear that there is a Corvette restoration shop somewhere in Mesa, AZ but I can't recall the name now have I ever dealt with them.
