    67 Rubber Fuel Hose

Is anyone reproducing the ribbed fuel hose (as called for in the TIM/JG) that goes between the gas tank and the frame mounted steel fuel line on a '67? Thank you.

I would check with DR REBUILD. This is your best source for rubber products. He should have it.

PS: Just ask about ribbed fuel hose. Don't ask/discuss if it will pass NCRS/Bloomington judging.

If you drive your car make sure the rubber is comparable with corn juice.

Some of the old hoses are not good with anything other than 100% gas.

Just as a note this hose is from a 1967 427 400HP with less than 5000 miles. This one was used from the gas line to the fuel pump.

Interesting as it has no lines as you can see in the pics. Enjoy!

Hi Joe. Makes no sense to me why two types of 3/8 rubber hose would be required on the same car, but the TIM/JG makes no mention of ribs on the rubber hose from the frame to the fuel pump- only specifies ribs on the piece from the tank sender to the frame line.

May only be a different supplier. The non rib has identification markings while the ribbed one in typical applications does not.

It is a well established fact that GM had several suppliers for the bolts, nuts, washers and hoses used in the Manufacturing process for all their vehicles.
Specifications were written for the many manufacturers to establish the minimum specifications. If manufacturers exceeded those minimum specs their products would still qualify as suppliers.

I personally would forget having the correct fuel line hose for judging or for driving. Dangerous!!!
GO to you local auto store and get hose that compatible with todays pump gas aka good old ethanol.

Larry, Spot on. Got it new from Dr. Rebuild. I checked "no" in answer to his "Is this for NCRS" order form question. Thanks for the info.
