1966 Antenna Installation
I'm installing an original type power antenna (in place of the '67 style that a previous owner installed) and am having difficulty with attaching the antenna to the lower bracket. Nothing in the base of the antenna seems to line up correctly with the hole in the lower bracket. Does someone have a photo of a correct installation? I think an ideal shot would be looking up from below (probably the only way to get a shot). I have looked at the sketches for installation, but not enough detail to show what that screw coming up through the bracket threads into in the antenna. My first post here, so apologies if I've screwed something up.

Welcome,
There are people here with total years of experience really restoring Corvettes that number in the thousands of hours. Probably thousands of years! I'm talking really restoring Corvettes and not reading from GM parts catalogs and assembly manuals! Listen to the people like JIM Durham with those low NCRS numbers. You'll be glad you did!!!!

I agree with Gary, that's outstanding!
After weeks of daily work I just got finished cleaning aftermarket undercoat off the bottom of my 67 and it will never look as good as your car.
