1968 327/300hp steel valve covers ?

Are the 68 300hp valve covers different than the 69 to82 steel valve covers ? I know that 68 327 have the oil fill tube in the intake were the 69-82 are in the valve cover. Also were clips on the side for the temp sender wire?

The right side valve cover was the same for 1968 and 1969. This valve cover had one clip on the rear, upper as mounted on the engine.

I believe that the left side cover for 1968 was the same as the right side cover. Of course, the 1969 left side cover had the oil filler.

Joe Thank you for the reply. I though both sides only had one hole but wasn't 100% sure.
