Help request: body repair & paint for Huntington Beach CA

I have a '69 vette and was hit by a party with USAA insurance. I need to find a place to perform an estimate and conduct minor repairs and paint in location near Huntington Beach, CA 92648. All the places I've called can't even develop an estimate on classic cars.

Visit Coast Corvette, across the freeway from Disneyland. The owner, Chuck Hance, hired me as a fiberglass man one summer in the late '70s when I was in college (I'm dating myself). He runs a successful, high-integrity Corvette specialty shop with which is much larger today than when I worked there.

DO NOT confuse them with "West Coast Corvette", a much newer business which I heard has a mixed reputation.

I would strongly encourage you to contact Steve Luvisi, Automotive Expertise in HB, and get his advice.
He is an outstanding corvette restorer and mechanic.

I should have figured he couldn't help. Try calling Jeff Reade at American Motoring Memories up in Culver City.
I think his painter might be in Torrance. Good luck,

Steve has worked on my car for years. He was the 1st person I called and he doesn't have any recommendations as the only person he has recommended in the past has retired...Don

Hi Don, Did you have any luck finding someone? I'm looking as well. I have a 1967 that was in a minor left front accident a few years ago, I had it repaired by a local shop, and the repair is not holding up. I should have done a bit more research before having it done. Thanks Jack Waller

Thanks Richard, I think with any damage around the headlight opening it's not easy to stabilize the way these cars flex.
