I've just been advised to list the 2019 Florida Winter Regional in Lakeland on the back page of the next issue (March/April) of The Driveline with the dates to be announced.

no change of heart, it was never voted down by the board of directors, only suggested that the chapter look for an alternative site...and the chapter was given until the board meeting in March to submit their proposal but after meeting in FL last week, it seemed as though that Lakeland was the best location. Arrangements will be forthcoming.

That's Great! Even though the Vendor count and Registration was down, it was still an enjoyable event. A BIG Thanks to all of the Florida folks for their efforts to keep this going! Great Friends....Great Cars....Great FUN!

Great news!!!!

Pushing to a later date certainly should increase participation. Recent dates were too close to the Holidays.

Perhaps we could have a secondary host hotel in Kissimmee and provide a shuttle bus between there and Lakeland. Then the families could stay near the vacation activities, those who choose to go to the event can go back and forth and still get to enjoy some of the Kissimmee's less expensive hotels, enjoy the restaurants and go to Mecum if they choose.

Just thinking out of the box, I'm sure there are many ideas out there, let' hear them to help the Florida Chapter put on an event that the Chapter, Board and members can live with. Would be a shame to lose this event in the future.

Howard I think that is a great idea. As Kissimmee has lot to offer for the wives and kids.

Very good news indeed - our winter home is in the St. Pete/Clearwater area so Sun 'n Fun is less than an hour away. Had a great time this year, even though crowds and vendors were somewhat down and the weather wasn't good. See you all next year!

Wonderful!!! My only vacation of the year and I look forward to 2019. Thank to the Florida Chapter for working to provide us with a wonderful venue year after year!
