    73 Seat Belt Warning Buzzer

Where is the seat belt warning buzzer located. The Service manual looks like it is near the fuse box on the driver's side under dash?

I believe it is off the wiring harness?

    Thanks.

    Hi Peter,
Its located in the center of the dash. Yes, it is part of the wiring harness. You can get to it by removing the passenger side lower dash pad if I remember correctly. Here's its location as per the 73 AIM.
    Hope this helps!

      Thanks Jimmy..

It was right in the middle of the passenger side dash. Replaced the missing buzzer and works fine.

          Hi Pete,
Glad to "HEAR" you got it working lol! I know what you mean about it being annoying at times. Remember, if you are not going on a long drive and just moving the car around at home or working on it, just pull the E-Brake handle up a couple clicks to disable it!

Just pull out the belt and wrap it around the buckle two times and tuck it under the seat, No buzzer because the switch is in the retractor in 73.
