1969 TI (Transistor Ignition) does it require a capacitor on the coil?

The judging manual says all radio cars had a capacitor on the coil, but some of the parts companies (and the assembly manual) do not show a capacitor on the COIL for TI systems.

Did you look in the U69 option section of the 1969 AIM? That is where the capacitor would be listed.

FWIW: My 1970 LT1 has a capacitor on the coil, and it was installed at St Louis.
