    What color black should this "V" bar be painted?

      Jerry,

      I'm sure that was a dipped part so the color could run from gloss to off gloss but not flat. Depends on the humidity, temp and age of the paint when dipped and dried.
      Usually Krylon Industrial 1613 is acceptable.
