I talked to a guy who says he has the original drawing for the header pipe nuts. That they are regular steel nuts . Not the crimp nuts everyone sells. Any idea's on this . Thanks in advance.

Re: 1957 exhaust header pipe nuts
As it turns out he can not find the drawing . The part number in the assembly manual starts out 367 but i can not read the rest in my book.Does anybody have AM that has the the whole part number. In the standard parts catalogue a standard 3/8 nut is part number 120377.Any body know the part number for the crimp nut that was available for years .- Top

Re: 1957 exhaust header pipe nuts
The '57 Pts Bk still has a Gr.8.900 Std Parts section in it. No 7 digit nut part #s are listed in it. Some listings under a Google search for that # will take you to a listing for the crimp nut, but the reasoning/connection is not clear. Maybe the answer is to contact the seller of that nut and ask he/she "why" they believe it.- Top
