My build date on my 64 was Oct 5, 1963. The afb on the car is missing the triangular tag. The stamping on the front base plate is 3461S with CJ3 under that. Is it a possible carryover carb? Car is 327/300 hp 4-sp manual trans. I have been thru the Judging Guide and do not see what the CJ3 indicates.

A friend of mine once owned a early 64 convertible and I noticed it had a 3461 Carter AFB and was dated like your carburetor. I can't say for sure what month the car was built but I seem to remember a October 63 car build.
I think you are good to go with the 3461 Carter on a early build 1964 car.- Top
