'66 inner heater box attachment question

I'm in the process of trying to straighten out the mess underneath the dash in my '66. Looks like many of the parts had been removed at some point, and some things were not put back in fully attached. The inner heater box is one example. It was not attached to the stud at the upper left corner when I went to remove it, so I'm not sure what kind of attachment, i.e. nut/washer/grommet is used there. The end of the bracket on the heater box that attaches to the stud is shaped like a "C," which leads me to believe that some type of rubber grommet goes on there. The assembly manual doesn't show any detail in that area, so I'm looking for some help from fellow members.

    Thanks,
    Steve

No rubber grommet that I am aware of. Just a large head speed or tin nut. Same style nut as on the engine side heater box.

Here's a picture (far left) of the nut Russ described in his reply. This is on the right side of the heater box on my '65. The other two pictures I believe are from a fellow NCRS member Steve Leveane (spelling), and the far right is from a '65 low mileage Bowtie/Duntov car taken at the 2008 national convention.

      Regards,

Thanks James and Russ for your replies. Those pictures were exactly what I was looking for. RE the nut, is it a solid 1/4-20 nut with a wide flange, or is it a tin nut?

I have another question about the heater unit. What attaches to the metal tabs on the lower y-duct?
