    Thanks Richard. The bend is about 1/32 of an inch in the center off center line for both of my upper pivot shafts. I will tighten the shaft retaining bolts when the car is all put together on the ground. Your photos are very helpful. With the correct installation the straight side of the upper control arm faces the rear and the curved side faces the front then the ball joints line up with the upper shock mounting hole. When this is reversed the ball joints are forward over an inch.

    The top photo is the correct placement.

      Gary - thanks for pointing this out. I was able to straighten them with my shop press using two sockets that were the same height to place under the machined flange for the mounting bolts. A straightedge across the flange really showed the slight arch and now it is gone. Great catch. Mark
