1963 (C2) headlight "limit switch" wiring

For the driver's side headlight "limit switch" for my 1963 Corvette, there are two wires connected to the top tab of the "limit switch." For the passenger's side, there is one wire connected to the top tab of the "limit switch." There is a bottom tab on both "limit switches." No wire is connected to either bottom tab. Is this correct?
If one of the wires on the driver's side is supposed to be connected to the bottom tab, does anyone know where I can purchase the connector? I think it is blue in color. The tab from the wire fits into one end. The other end of the connector slides on the tab for the "limit switch."
For future reference, is there someplace I can find a diagram of the wiring? I searched, but could not find the answer.
Thanks for your help. It is appreciated.

The 1963 service manual has the wiring diagram .. I think the blue connector is part of the complete harness that lectric limited sells .

First, here is how the switch works. When you turn on the headlights with the buckets closed a light on the dash will illuminate and blink if the headlights buckets are not turned over to the running position. When the headlight buckets turn over they activate the switch and turn the light in the dash off! The switch will NOT work if the wires are not connected to the top and bottom of the switch. The assembly manual which I'm sure you have shows the wiring and the color of the wires.

Thanks for the help. I found the wiring diagram in the assembly manual. Now I just have to stick my head under the hood and start working on it again.

the wires and insulator ends are dirty, but I think you can see how they attach.

Here is a cleaner picture. Easier to see the blue covers on the connectors

                Great picture, Jim. Thanks.
Does anybody know where I can get the blue covers for the connectors? I looked at Lectric Limited's website and could not find them. Maybe I will have to give them a call. I would be grateful for any suggestions.
