what was the finish of this piece originally

Guys,

Can someone tell me what the finish of this piece was originally? I'm guessing it was semi-gloss black. I usually blast and then paint my pieces right away but this one I wasn't able to. Its now been several weeks since I blasted it and I can't remember the finish. It mounts under the fender. This one is from the drivers side. I can't seem to locate the other one, I'm guessing there is one from the passenger's side too?

Semi gloss black paint . one on each side.
