I'm restoring a 69 435hp coupe. The radiator in there now is a replacement copper unit, but has 3 stamped holes on top, instead of 2. It is also 2.5" wide instead of 2". DeWitts seems to make only aluminum replacements. Does anyone know if someone else makes a correct copper radiator for the 427? Thanks, Mark

Re: Where to get correct radiator core?
They used to have correct cores for my 73s and then they changed the shape of the top and bottom bar so I took them my original core which they then sent to wherever they get their re-cores and had the core company use my original top and lower support bar putting them onto the new core. Turned out great.- Top

Re: Where to get correct radiator core?
That's what I needed also. I was in Denver at the time and went to Gold Star Radiator with by bad core and good top and lower bars. They removed the tanks and bars then sent the bars to their core supplier who made a new core using my correct bars. They then sent the new core back to Golds Radiator to have the original tanks re-installed.r- Top

Re: Where to get correct radiator core?
Mark, try calling Dewitt's . I am pretty sure they have the correct core or Radiator assy. also you want the attaching code tag and overflow hose retainer clip (s) for judging, I think 69 has these? some of the venders sell these I think it maybe Paragon Corvette.New England chapter member, 63 Convert. 327/340- Chapter/Regional/national Top Flight, 72 coupe- chapter and regional Top Flight.- Top
