    1963 Replacement Fiberglass Panels

    Could an experienced member please critique these panels. I haven't started restoring the body yet (still on the chassis) but can't help looking forward. My left rear 1/4 panel will need repair or replacement. Saw these on eBay and (comparing them to the solid white panels at many vendors websites) these resemble the color of my originals.

    Also, if these are the correct color, are the bonding strips also the same color?

          Irby, I like the look of the qtr. panel color, looks correct. bonding strip should be the same, early to mid 63 cars approx. 10,000 when they started mixing the light gray and white fiberglass panels and bonding strips colors.
          New England chapter member, 63 Convert. 327/340- Chapter/Regional/national Top Flight, 72 coupe- chapter and regional Top Flight.

              Irby,

              Tom, who is advertising the white 63 panels is a reliable supplier that I have had many dealings with. I cannot say the same for America's Finest. I have never dealt with them.

                          Thanks for all the replies guys. I emailed Tom because I'm also needing the rear tail light panel (must've been rear-ended at some point). He stated that he won't have those for another three months which is about the time frame I was looking at anyway. Forgot to ask him if he also carries the bonding strips. Will need to contact him again.
                          I haven't looked at America's Finest yet but will be visiting their website right after posting this.

                              I purchased panels and bonding strips for my early 63 , color and fit were near perfect very happy .. Give them at least a month lead time.
