I plan to replace the rubber bushing of the sway bar (66 L72) and have reviewed articles in the archives, so plan to: 1) raise front of car; 2) remove link bolt, bushings, hardware 3) replace link bolt/hardware with new bushing but not torque at this point 4) replace bushing around sway bar 5) do same for other side 6) lower car to ground then torque link bolts between 9 and 12ft lbs.
Is this a correct way to do it? Also, do the various corvette part vendors pretty much carry the same type rubber bushings? thanks
