    1967 327 smog (A I R) AND is there a K19 registry ?

    Hello

Looking for picture(s) of 1967 327 smog (A I R) mounting bracket at the water pump.

And if there is a K19 registry ? Have seen some older posts with general questions about how many K19 Corvette there were built by year.

Have searched previous posts, assembly manual, judging manuals, and other publications.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Ray,
I have a 1967 L36 with smog so I can't help you with a picture. There is a pretty good illustration of the 327 in the A.I.M..
Do a search for "1966 & 1967 K19 corvette owners" it's a post by Dale Schafer from November 26 2011. Sorry I can't seem to post the link.
    Kind regards

      Thanks Peter
AIM illustration is of a big block...
Thinking a Small Block needs a spacer.

It's tough to get a good photo of the 1966-67 small block AIR pump bracket because with the pump installed, most of the bracket is obscured. However, I will attach a picture of the bracket on a 1969 small block application. The bracket installation on the 68-69 application is absolutely identical to the 1966-67 application. The brackets, though, are NOT the same. The 1966-67 AIR bracket, GM #3882861, is unique to those years as well as being unique to Corvettes. The 1968-77 bracket, GM #3923214, also unique to Corvettes, replaced the 3882861 for SERVICE in February, 1969. Later, the 1978-79 bracket, GM #14007354, replaced the 3923214 for 1966-77 SERVICE. All 3 brackets are completely functionally interchangeable but configured slightly different.

There's no K-19 registry I know of but, with the proliferation of "registries", one may exist. The number of K-19 cars built for 1966 and 1967 is easy to come up with. It's 2,380 for 1966 and 2,573 for 1967. For 1968-71 it's easy, too. For 1968 it was 28,566 and for 1969 38,762 since ALL Corvettes built those years were equipped with AIR. For 1970 it was 1,287, the number of LT-1's built that year since they were the only cars equipped with AIR. For 1971 it was 1,949 + 188, the number of LT-1 + LS-6 built that year.

          Thank You Joe;

Do you think there is a spacer on that top right side waterpump bolt between the waterpump and the smog pump bracket ?

There is a spacer on 1969-1972 Small Block, but I don't know about 1967 or 1968.

There is a spacer for all 1966-79. It was GM #3877600. It was 21/32" OD and 1/2" thick.

                  Think we can fabricate one.

If your Corvette has Air Conditioning you will not need that spacer.
