71 unknown electrical plug-in at firewall

I have a 71 LS5, late build car. I have a wire with a plug in connector that I cannot identify. I would appreciate any help figuring it out. I am posting pictures. The wire is black and comes through the firewall grommet with the pass side wiper hose. There are two wires that pass, a white or tan one and a black one with the connector I am questioning. Thanks for your help.

That is the ground wire for the wiper motor.
The alarm ground from the firewall switch will piggy back off that connector also.

      Rick,

Thank you for your response. The wipers and alarm both work, but now I have to search for the matching connector to that plug, perhaps somewhere on the wiper motor itself.

Rick, 100% correct! Someone jury rigged the ground elsewhere, so now I have put it back correctly. Thank You very much.

This what it looks like when both wires are connected to the ground on the wiper motor.
