Question for our Engine Experts on Bolt Sizes

Waiting to get in my "Display Block" (L36) for my "ManCave". Trying to get all the bolts ready for
assembly. Question>What is the bolt size that attaches the Bell Housing to Engine? I assume it
is coarse thread. Is the bolt identical in size for the S/B and B/B?? Thanks in advance-Larry

3/8-16 X 1-1/4". Flanged, non-trimmed (indented) head. GM 280-M material grade (3 radial lines). Zinc plated. M is a common headmark. The same bolts were used for both small block and big block.

Joe: Thanks-For some reason I thought the bolt would be bigger then 3/8" but I guess they knew
what they where doing. BTW>Thanks for all the help you give us--Larry
