    70 Front Caliper Fastener Finish

    What is the correct finish for the following front caliper parts?

    Bolts holding calipers to bracket
    Lock washers on bolts holding calipers to bracket
    Pin retaining brake pads in the calipers
    Cotter pin in the pin retaining brake pads in the calipers

      bolts were black phosphate

      lockwashers were "plain" finish (usually, this is a color between natural steel and "brown")

      pad pin was natural steel

      cotter pin was "plain"

          Does the pin go in so that the cotter pin is to the inside or outside?
