1963 Sebring Gulf film on Bangshift.com

Currently on Bangshift.com is a 25 minute film produced for Gulf oil. It shows several 63 Corvettes and Dave Mcdonald driving for the Cobra team and I believe Don Yenko was there also. It is a very cool 1963 period piece that some of us can relate to.
Sorry, I couldn't figure how to attach it to this post. Maybe someone else can figure it out.

David - just watched it, great film of the time - at
8:53 button on the steering wheel of a C2 - anyone know what's that for
9:14 - 63 with sidepipes
12:19 and 18:40 - Graham Hill English racing formula one driver
17:56 - watch the guy hit thouse knock off wheels
19:33 Que for toilets that's still the same

That button is strange. If there are wires from it it seems like they'd get caught up in the wheel.

If the button was on a Grady Davis car, I believe they were equipped with a two-way radio/phone - the button is probably the "speak" button.

I worked as a safety worker in 65 and 66 and remember many more Corvettes and Cobras. Several Grandsports were there and they couldn't
keep up with the lightweight Cobras. I remember walking through the hangars and watching the cars being prepared for the race. Anyone could
walk in with no restrictions. Certainly different than today.
