I am doing a frame off restoration on a 1969 convertible and have some questions on painting the headlight doors, not the bezels. I understand that the headlight doors were mounted on the body during painting and have over spray on the outside springs. This is what i have on pictures that I took before disassembly and cleaning/painting of the assembly. I can not tell from my pictures if the top and bottom of the headlight doors themselves had the zinc phosphate primer on them. Any and all comments or observations appreciated.
