I am watching the old 1980s TV show "In the Heat of the Night" and the character Jamison had a red 75 roadster, anyone have any info on it? I believe Carroll O'Connor and his son Hugh were car guys and was interested to know if this was one of their cars? Seems to be a lot of 60-70's cars on this show.

I'm afraid that I have no idea on that one.
It's always fun to see Corvettes show up in a vintage film or TV show.
I've also wondered whatever happened to the white '73 coupe from "The Magician", starring Bill Bixby.

I have all of the Columbo series on DVD and quite surprised at all of the vettes I see. The shows that are shown now have cut out most of the lingering scenes.Comment

I don't know about you guys but I find most of what I see on TV today with respect to new shows is garbage. Maybe I'm getting old but a lot of what I see today would not be allowed that long ago. So I watch the shows from the 60-80's and like to see the cars used. This show really has a lot of cool old cars at times and the 75 red vette was one. It looks like an L48 but I was just interested to see if it was an auto or 4 spd, nice looking vette too. I know this is a little off topic.Comment
