The heater core on my un-restored 1967 A/C coupe has finally started to leak.
It was the last cooling system component that will need replacement. In the spring, the original 50 year old radiator was replaced with a DeWitte unit.
Does anyone have recommendations for a replacement heater core? Aftermarket or NOS? I heard bad things about aftermarket units and don't want to do this job twice. I did find someone who has a NOS unit but is very pricey. Many catalogs offer replacements at a much lower cost. LI Corvette offers one without a warranty because the manufacturer is out of business.
Looking for some help/experience/opinions before spending big $ on the NOS unit.
Thank You,
