new 1982 owner/member driver rear tail light trouble

I recently purchased a 1982 collectors edition. the rear tail light is out, the turn signal and break work, but driving tail light wont. I changed bulb. I wonder if there is a fuse specifically for the tail light or if it could be a connection /wire issue.

36000 miles, purchased in 1985 with 31000 and has been garaged and monthly run.

Thoughts appreciated.

I would say you have a socket issue or a ground for that socket is , park light are fused, but all park lights on the same fuse. You are using a 1157 or 2057 dual filament?

Yes, I would say double check the bulb and ground. Here is a better fuse box diagram than what is in the owners manual, you can enlarge to read it and is easier to see than the marks on the box for some fuses, I think the '81 and '82 are the same:

Yes sir, I am using 1157 Sylvania. I will check the socket. I got some bulb lube I hope might help.
