N03 36-1/2 Gallon fuel tank

Not sure if this an appropriate post...but here goes. I have a 36-1/2 tank that has internal damage (I'm pretty sure from ethanol gas). I was able to procure a reproduction tank during my restoration. The old tank was cut in half along the flange to determine if it could be repaired. I looked into a rubber bladder but the repo tank was less costly so I went that route. Anyway, I'm cleaning out the garage/basement and came across the two big boxes the tank halves are in and had to ask myself why i'm hanging onto these! Any suggestions as to what to do with and is anyone interested in them? I can post pictures if requested.

You cant see it in the car with the cover on it Buy a repo and be safe. Stupid ETHANOL gas

Ron, Bob Jorjorian may be interested in your cut up tank. Sliced in halve is better.
He's not on here anymore but I am hoping he will be in near future.

Ron, I would keep it and try to sell it to someone who wants it, it is rare and there are many who would make
great use of it. There are ways to deal with the ethanol issues (coat the inside of the tank, or insert an in-line
fuel filter).. You can post to on-line classified ads or do a drive line ad.... good luck TOny
