Need 66 427 4 barrel Carburetor rebuild to NCRS standards

Hi All,
Can any one recommend a rebuilder for a original 66 427 4 Barrel carb. My mechanic can do a minor rebuild but told me there is a steel plug that is leaking near the fuel inlet and his only solution is to epoxy it over so he suggested I look for a rebuilder that can fix the leaking plug and keep the original carb up to NCRS standards. We live in the St.Louis MO area but will send it to the right rebuilder.

Rick, I think Bob Kunz is in St. Louis His #314-843-7545, Talked to him in the late spring and he was still in it then. Good fair guy.

I understand some rebuilders won't assume liability unless they epoxy these plugs. Any other safe way to do it?

I use Tom Zeeman of Ghhost Performance in Long Island. He builds a fantastic carb and used OEM assembly line parts only. Wonderful guy. 631-581-2009
