C2, 1966, 327 Wire Question

Here's another of those, so-called, mystery dangling wire questions. While I was replacing a dash bulb I discovered the wire shown below. It exits the main wire bundle above the emergency brake and is about twelve inches long. It's tan or light brown in color and has an odd connector on the end. The glove box light works, the heater fan operates on all three speeds, and I haven't noticed anything else out of the ordinary. Although I haven't started as of yet.

Help is needed. I don't want to go on an egg hunt standing on my head when I don't know where to search. I've reviewed the wiring diagram in the ATM, but I'm still at a lost.

Bingo, Thanks; I guess if I had eyes in the back of my head while searching the back side of the dash I might have realized there was something missing. Thanks again for the quick reply. Rest assured I'll remember that one.
