    Thx.

    Re: Sunvisors

Don't think there is much difference. Traditionally Al Knoch has the best C-1 and C-2 stuff and Corvette America has the best C-3 and up stuff.
Just one man's opinion and everybody has one. Opinion that is!

James If your sunvisors are in good shape why not. try to dye them if you can a spray can in white from All or CA.

Never thought about dye. They are in excellent shape just soiled.
        Thx.

I did my black 63 sunvisors and look good just do light coats until they are covered evenly.

            Re: Sunvisors

Jim, I bought new Knoch sun visors for my 66 restoration. They looked ok but it is very difficult to get the mounting hardware on them. Also if you have your car judged you'll get a deduct. I ended up dying the originals in my car and using them.

give me a cal if you want to understand the issue with the Knoch version.

              Jim,
Stick with original items whenever possible. Try some Lestoil (available at ACE hardware, etc) and a soft toothbrush. You will be BLOWN away how nice that stuff works. It's harsh stuff, so i do a little area at a time, wipe off with wet hand towel and keep going. I did the entire red interior of a 77 Trans am i had a while back and they came like new. Treat with some protectant after you are done and brag that you "rehabbed" your originals to like new condition.

Thanks All. I am going to try more cleaning (Lestoil) first, hopefully that'll do it.
