Correct Power Antenna Mast Tip (finial tip) 1979??

I just repaired the power antenna mast on my 1979. The TIM describes the correct finial as, "ball with parallel sides, making it roughly the shape of a small cylinder, rather than spherical." Here a photos of what I'm working with which is the original one on the car. The replacement mast came with a flatter tip. Is the photo the correct tip for a 1979 power antenna?

Wow sure is disappointing that given all the NCRS members on this thread, and there must be some or know someone with knowledge of judging 78-79 model years that not one person has responded to my question. Must be if you are not in the C1, C2 or early C3 crowd you don't rate a response. Sad.

The resolution quality of your image is awful fuzzy so it cannot be determined if it's correct or cylindrical. Avoid posting images taken with a cell phone camera unless you're assured of the resolution quality...new cell phone have imagery that is pretty remarkable.

So here's what's correct...less the corrosion.

Outstanding Tom. You seem to be the only other C3 (78-79*) person out there that reads these. That's exactly the one I had and I am using on the car now (minus the rust). I am planning on taking the my car to the Lone Star Regional next month for judging. So it's the little things like this that have me going as I read through the TIM. Thanks again.
